“As far as I’m concerned, the most stirring love scenes center on kissing. Long and deep or sweet and tender—it doesn’t matter. When his hands go up to cup her face, it’s all over. In fact, if the kissing’s good, I don’t need to see the sex.

If I ever had an affair, it would be a really short one—somewhere between five seconds and ten minutes. It would begin and end with kissing, and it would be with a total stranger. No commitments (I have a mate; I sure don’t want another), not much talking, no real consequences.
